🔌Adding Paper Connections

Short tutorial on creating a paper connection and editing your blanace

To get started with Tradetomato, you will first need to add a connection. You can choose between adding a paper connection if you wish to trade in our demo environment. Or you can add a direct link to your exchange account.

Adding a connection can be done in two ways. You can navigate to the user settings menu and click on Connections.

Alternatively, you can add a connection from your Portfolio page.

To add a paper connection, follow the steps below.

1. On the Connections page, click 'Add connection'.

2. Next, select the Paper Trading connection type.

3. Choose which exchange you'd like to add your connection to. Currently, Binance is the only available option. More exchanges will be available soon.

4. Make your connection distinguishable by giving it a unique name and then click 'Connect' to add a connection.

You have now created your paper trading connection!

To save time, we recommend adding a paper balance at this stage.
