๐Ÿ“„Templates

If you are a beginner trader, templates are likely the best way to familiarize yourself with modules and algorithms. Templates are presets aimed at providing a starting point for your modules. Please keep in mind that templates are not optimized for current market conditions and are, therefore, not supposed to be run without adjustments. Rather, they are meant to help you get an idea of the different setups that can be constructed using the module builder.

A step-by-step guide to using templates

To get started with templates, navigate to the Marketplace and select the 'Templates' tab.

You can browse through the available selection of module templates. Click on 'View' to see more information about a given template.

If you'd like to use a template, click on 'Get' to add the template to your library.

To view your library, click on the 'My Library' button in the top right. This will take you to your library of modules and templates.

To use a template, navigate to Modules and select '+ Add Module'.

Next, click 'Custom Module' and select 'Use a template.'

You can then select a template from your list that you would like to use for your module. By clicking 'Create', the template will be added to your module builder and can be edited according to your needs.

You'll need to finish setting up your module by selecting the exchange connection, trading pair, and exposure.

Once your module is configured, you can proceed to the module builder, where you'll see the template as a base for your module. As mentioned above, the template is just a starting point for your module. Please make sure to adjust conditions to match your trading strategy and market conditions.

With your module configured to your liking, all that's left to do is to save it and test it! Before running your module on a live exchange connection, we recommend backtesting it or testing it using the paper trader to make sure your strategy is being executed as expected. This gives you an excellent opportunity to assess the performance of your module and make adjustments where necessary.
