For improved security and to maintain a clear distinction between your automated trading activities and other investments, we advise setting up a separate sub-account on MEXC dedicated to Tradetomato.

Adding a MEXC connection (Live Trading)

Prepare to automate your trading activities on MEXC by establishing a live trading connection. This process involves generating vital API keys. This guide is designed to assist you in seamlessly integrating your MEXC account with the Tradetomato platform.

Navigate to MEXC

If you already have a MEXC account with funds on it - skip to the API Key Creation step.

• If you're new to MEXC, either create an account or log in if you already have one.

• Ensure your trading account's security with a robust password and enhance it further by enabling 2-factor authentication (2FA).

• Complete the process by verifying your email and complying with MEXC's identity verification requirements to bolster overall security.

API Key Creation

Within your MEXC account interface, look for the 'API Management' button to initiate the creation process of your API key.

Doing so will redirect you to a new page where you must select permissions and whitelist your IP.

Select Permissions

During API key generation, please ensure that you select the appropriate permissions. Enable the following permissions:

Account:

• View Account Details

Trade:

• View Order Details

• Trade

Notes: (Required) Provide a unique identifier for your API key. (e.g. Tradetomato API)

Whitelist IP Address

In the empty field below named 'Linked IP Address (Optional)'

Enter the IP addresses displayed to you on the Tradetomato platform, separating them with a comma [,].

Click Create

MEXC may prompt you to complete this step through multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Create Key

Once your API keys are generated, you'll receive both an API key and a secret key. Copy these keys along with your passphrase. Navigate back to Tradetomato's connection setup, enter a unique name for your connection, then paste the previous credentials into their respective fields.

Establish Connection

Click Create

Congratulations! Your MEXC connection is now established. Explore your portfolio and begin automating your MEXC trades on the Tradetomato platform.
