Get ready to automate your trading on Bitget by creating a live trading connection through the generation of essential API keys. This guide will help integrate your Bitget account with the Tradetomato platform.
If you're new to Bitget, create an account or log in if you already have one.
Create a strong password for your trading account.
Strengthen security by enabling 2-factor authentication (2FA).
Verify your email and comply with Bitget's identity verification process to enhance overall security.
API Key Creation
Within your Bitget account interface, look for the 'API Keys' section to initiate the API key creation process. Next, click 'Create API Key' to initiate the API key creation process. At this time, you may be prompted to ensure the security of your assets and enable two-factor Authentication. Select 'System-generated API key'
Select Permissions
Provide a recognizable name to your API key in the 'Note' section. Add a passphrase (8-32 alphanumeric characters) for your API Token
During API key generation, ensure that you select appropriate permissions. For live trading, you'll need to enable the following permissions:

Whitelist your IP address.
In the empty field 'Linked IP Address' enter the IP addresses displayed to you on the Tradetomato platform, separating them with a comma [,].
Click Next
Bitget will prompt you to complete this step through multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Once your API keys are generated, you'll receive an API key and a secret. Copy these keys along with your passphrase. Navigate back to Tradetomato's connection setup and paste the credentials into their respective fields.
Congratulations! Your Bitget connection is now established. Explore your portfolio and begin automating your Bitget trades on the Tradetomato platform.
