Backtest results

To view the results of your backtest, simply select it from your list of backtests.

Once on the results screen, you can toggle between the 'Performance' and 'Positions' tabs or switch to view the performance of your sub-positions.

Performance: Displays backtest results. View the profitability of your module and other relevant statistics. You will get insights such as Net Gain, Total Gain, Average Gain per Position, and Trade Ratio. You can also view all the trades executed by your module on the chart

Trade History: Displays an overview of positions in the backtest. Select a position to view more detailed information, such as Position entry and exit statistics and your return per position.

You can also view detailed order information, which displays orders performed in the backtest and the reason why they were performed.

Orders displayed in backtest results will differ from actual module performance due to multiple reasons. These include, but are not limited to, differences in order timing, position entry timing, and order execution quantity/price.
